Luminaire.fr: our view of the merchant
Luminaire.fr is the French shop of Lampenwelt GmbH (Fulda, Germany). It is a multi-brand retailer, not a manufacturer — wider choice of pendants, wall lights and ceiling fittings than on Amazon when you need a specific style.
Catalogue
Indoor fittings (pendants, ceiling, wall, floor, spots), outdoor lighting (bollards, solar, motion), bulbs, smart home and seasonal décor. Featured brands include Lindby, Lucande, Arcchio, Prios, EGLO, Paulmann, Philips, Philips Hue, OSRAM, SLV, Steinel, plus design names (Artemide, FLOS, Louis Poulsen, Foscarini…).

Strengths and limits
| Strengths | Limits |
|---|---|
| Very wide range, entry level to design | Paid returns |
| 30-day return window (twice the legal minimum in France) | €39.90 bulky delivery fee |
| Parcel shop for small parcels | No overseas French delivery |
| Frequent seasonal sales | Promo codes often exclude design brands |
We use Luminaire.fr when we need a specific fitting (dining pendant, IP44 bathroom wall light, garden bollard) rather than a bulb alone. Measure before ordering large pieces. For bulbs only, Amazon UK or the OSRAM shop is often simpler.
