Nanoleaf: Wi-Fi connection failed

Setup fails at the final Wi-Fi step; only local control works.

Causes: phone joined to 5 GHz only; special characters in password; AP isolation; MAC filtering.

Steps

  1. Configure on 2.4 GHz only.
  2. Temporarily simplify the Wi-Fi password to test.
  3. Disable client isolation / guest network for setup.
  4. Move the controller near the router.
  5. Reset controller (5 s) and retry.
